ACHONDRITES

about 7% of all known meteorites. There are many different types:

HOWARDITES, EUCRITES, DIOGENITES, OLIVINE-DIOGENITES:
Fragments of the crust of a differentiated asteroid, most likely Vesta.

UREILITES: primitive achondrites, rich in carbon, and occasionally nano-diamonds.

AUBRITES: Contain minerals unknown on Earth.

ANGRITES: one of the rarest, the origin is still being argued.

BRACHINITES, LODRANITES, ACAPULCOITES, WINONAITES: Contain a lot of metal. Very rare types.

LUNAR: Basalts and Breccias: Similar to samples brought back by Apollo missions.

MARTIANS: 3 different types: shergottites, Nakhlites, and Chassignites.
