NEW CONCORD

Fell on May 1, 1860 as a shower of some 30 stones in Muskingum County, Ohio, for a total of about 226.8kg. The main mass. 46.7kg is still in Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio. Supposedly one of the stones hit and killed a colt.
Classified as an Ordinary Chondrite L6.
Acquired in a trade with Arizona State University.
