NAKHLA

The first of the Nakhlite and its namesake.

Fell on June 28, 1911, in the delta of the Nile in Northern Egypt, and promptly recovered. A total of some 40 stones, for a total weight of about 10kg.

Classified as a martian, the very first of the Nakhlites.
