LITTLE SPRING CREEK

The only mass of only 2.95kg was originally found in 1937 by a young boy guarding his father’s livestock in southern Colorado right along the edge of the Great Sand Dunes National Park. All through his life he stubbornly refused to sell it even when H. H. Nininger repeatedly came asking for it. But eventually much later in life he finally accepted as long as he could keep a small piece and a cast of the whole stone.
