Aguas Zarcas fell in the evening of April 23, 2019 in a rural area of northern central Costa Rica, it showered the whole area with hundreds of stones ranging from less than 1 gram to 1868 grams. A total of about 27 kilos was found, however it started to rain some 24 hours later damaging many stones.
It turned out to be a Carbonaceous, CM2, similar to Murchison.
Only 2 thin-sections left, cut out of a fragment collected before the rain.
