Early in the morning of September 5, 1854, loud detonations preceded the fall of a meteorite just north of Berlin, Germany. It was a small stone, only 1862 grams was recovered, and most of it is now in the Museum of Berlin. It means that this small part slice with crust is probably the only sample available.
