Huckitta, the least Pallasite-like of the Pallasite.

The very first fragment of 1084g was found in 1924 near Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia. And the main mass of over 1 ton (1411 kg) was found much later, in July 1937, closer to Alice Springs. The fact that it was surrounded by some 900 kilos of iron shale points to the age of that meteorite, the outside is very weathered and somewhat crumbly, inside the crystals of olivine have long turned black. VERY rarely do you see any spark of color there.
