DIMMITT

One of the largest meteorites known from North America as many masses were recovered in the plains in Northern Texas, for a total Known Weight of over 200 kg. Many specimens went to Arizona State University and to the Monnig Collection since Oscar Monnig and H.H. Nininger met on the way to the strewnfield and decided, as proper gentlemen, to divide evenly their finds.
Classified as an Ordinary Chondrite H3.5-H3.7
